Afortunadamente, en lo que respecta a los impuestos federales sobre la renta, la inflaci\u00f3n tiene algunos efectos positivos. Ello se debe a que el IRS realiza ajustes anuales de determinados l\u00edmites impositivos y rangos de eliminaci\u00f3n progresiva. Cuando la inflaci\u00f3n es alta, como ahora, esos ajustes pueden aumentar efectivamente el valor de algunos cr\u00e9ditos y deducciones fiscales federales. Un ejemplo de ello son los propios tramos del impuesto sobre la renta. Aunque los tipos impositivos porcentuales no cambian de un a\u00f1o para otro, la cantidad de ingresos que te sit\u00faa en cada uno de esos tramos se ajusta a la inflaci\u00f3n cada a\u00f1o. As\u00ed que el a\u00f1o que viene puedes tener la sensaci\u00f3n de haber recibido una peque\u00f1a reducci\u00f3n de impuestos, aunque tu renta imponible siga siendo b\u00e1sicamente la misma, porque podr\u00edas acabar en un tramo impositivo inferior. Si eres una persona que cobra de la Seguridad Social, tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edas ver un aumento significativo en el importe de tu pago mensual, ya que estos pagos se ajustan anualmente a la inflaci\u00f3n. Otras partidas comunes de la declaraci\u00f3n de la renta que se ajustan a la inflaci\u00f3n son las siguientes:       <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>L\u00edmites de aportaci\u00f3n a la cuenta IRA<\/li>\n<li>L\u00edmites de las aportaciones al 401(k)<\/li>\n<li>Deducci\u00f3n est\u00e1ndar<\/li>\n<li>Rentas comprendidas en el tramo impositivo del 0% sobre las plusval\u00edas<\/li>\n<li>Umbral de ingresos adicionales del impuesto de Medicare y del impuesto sobre la renta neta de inversi\u00f3n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As\u00ed que, aunque duela ver c\u00f3mo se reducen el presupuesto y el poder adquisitivo de tu hogar en periodos de alta inflaci\u00f3n, es esencial reconocer los efectos positivos y aprovecharlos.
