MICHAEL R. GORRELL, CFP®
RETIRED COFOUNDER
Michael Gorrell is a co-founder and retired Senior Wealth Manager at Rhame & Gorrell Wealth Management. His passion for Financial Services began over 45 years ago and his relentless desire to serve his clients has been unwavering.
Mike’s extensive background in the industry allows him to develop sound investment strategies that are individually tailored and best suited for each client’s individual needs. Mike customizes solutions in a manner that meet their objectives and makes sure they understand the reasoning while doing so.
Originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana, Mike graduated from Valparaiso University. Upon graduation, he proudly served three years in the United States Marine Corps, where he was released from active duty as a Captain. Everyone at Rhame & Gorrell is thankful for Mike’s brave and unselfish service to our great country.
Along with his 45 years of experience in the industry, Mike has worked diligently to improve his education by completing post-graduate certification for the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ from The University of St. Thomas.
A Closer Look at
Mike Gorrell
Mike Gorrell has been an adjunct professor with both the University of Houston and Lone Star College Systems while teaching classes on a wide range of retirement and investment planning topics. He has also taught on & off-site retirement workshops for the employees of many Fortune 500 companies, such as ExxonMobil, Chevron.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys spending time with family, including his wife, two daughters, three grandchildren and several rescue dogs.
Fun Fact: In order to help pay his way through college, Mike was a drummer, playing in various night clubs in Chicago and surrounding areas.
