Jack Freeman
TAX PLANNING ASSOCIATE
Jack Freeman grew up in San Diego until the age of 11 and then moved to a suburb of Chicago called Park Ridge for middle school and high school. After high school, Jack attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. While at Tulane Jack got his BSM with a double major in Finance and Legal Studies in Business as well as his Master’s degree in Accounting. During his time at Tulane, Jack was part of the club lacrosse team playing against teams from across the country.
Following graduation, Jack began his career in New Orleans at a sole practitioner tax firm, John McMahon, CPA APAC while studying for the CPA. While there, Jack worked with individuals, families, and small businesses to assist them with tax planning and compliance needs. After his year with John, Jack moved to Houston to work for PwC on their Federal Tax team. At PwC, Jack primarily worked on large oil and gas companies assisting with both tax audits and compliance work. Having passed his CPA exams, Jack decided to shift his career to focus back to helping individuals and families solve problems.
Jack is soon to hold his Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Additionally, Jack is currently in the process of pursuing his Series 65, Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), and Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certifications.

Outside of the office, Jack is an avid sports fan, enjoys playing golf, and spending time with his English cream golden retriever, Rebel. Jack resides in the Houston Heights and makes an effort to continue exploring the greater Houston area.
Fun Fact: Jack has played golf on four different islands, three of which were outside of the United States.
