    Jeff grew up in Nacogdoches, Texas, and received a degree in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University. Through post graduate work at The University of Houston, he also achieved his designation as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.

    Jeff has been honored with industry awards and featured in many publications over his three decades in wealth management, including Barrons, Forbes and The Wall Street Journal. He was also honored as one of AdvisorHub’s Advisors to Watch, ranked by the Houston Business Journal as a top Wealth Manager, and ranked as a Future 50 by CityWire magazine. Under his leadership, the firm was ranked multiple times as Best of The Woodlands – Top Financial Advisors and Planners by Woodlands Online. For over 15 years, Jeff has been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager by Five Star Professionals.

    For almost two decades, Jeff served as an adjunct professor for the University of Houston and Lone Star College Systems, teaching classes on Investment Management, Estate, and Insurance Planning. As a member of the Financial Planning Association, he has also taught, and continues to teach, on- and off-site retirement workshops for the employees of many Fortune 500 companies, such as ExxonMobil and Chevron.

    Jeff has served on multiple different boards and organizations over the years, including President of The Woodlands Rotary Club, Vice President of the Alden Bridge Village Association, Alden Bridge Village Foundation, Tall Timbers District Vice Chairman Boy Scouts of America, Assistant Scoutmaster Troop 772, and a founding member of The Woodlands Sigma Chi Alumni Association. Jeff also served as a Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts Sam Houston Area Council contingency for both the 2017 National Jamboree as well as the 2019 World Jamboree. Currently, Jeff serves on the Memorial Hermann Hospital’s Advisory Board in The Woodlands and the Executive Advisory Board for The Nelson Rusche College of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University.
